  1. This version of FastLife requires Kickstart 2.04.

  3. FastLife now also requires reqtools.library 38+. To install ReqTools,
  4. open its drawer, then open the Install drawer and read the README file and
  5. follow the directions.  Close the Install drawer.  You may open the ReqTools
  6. Prefs drawer and install the ReqTools preferences editor if you like.  The
  7. editor is not required to run FastLife.

  9. You may delete the ReqTools drawer after you've installed the ReqTools
  10. library.

  12. WARNING: The Amiga can produce screen modes that will physically damage
  13. certain monitors.  See your Amiga documentation.

  15. To see an impressive Life pattern, Start FastLife with a SuperHiRes-
  16. Interlaced 1280 by 350 screen (SEE THE PARAGRAPH ABOVE!). Open
  17. Patterns/New/RLE/BreederRLE.life and place it on the screen at about 
  18. x=4, y=4.  Select Control-Run and watch for a while.  To see more detail,
  19. open a LowRes 1280 by 350 screen and OpenAgain.  Push the mouse pointer
  20. against the edge of the visible screen and it will scroll around.
